Tuesday, February 19, 2019: Canceled flights

I noticed yesterday that on the Air Notification from Seabourn that I had received on January 29, that the flights for Laura and Megan only included their return flights from Stockholm to Houston. My outbound and home bound flights were all there. The previous notification back in December had shown the flights from Houston to Copenhagen as well as those from Stockholm to Houston. I brought this to the attention of Maxine.

She called Seabourn and they told her their air department computer had crashed and it would be awhile to get it back up. They did confirm that we had paid for round trip tickets. Maxine told me that she also checked the American Airlines site and it did not show their reservations.

Today, Maxine called to say that, for some reason, all the tickets for Laura and Megan had been canceled. As for the reason, she said all she got from Seabourn was a bunch of BS. Anyway, she said the tickets have been restored and she had just received the updated Air Notification which she would forward to us. While I was still on the phone, Maxine looked at the notification and said they still did not show their outbound flights and she would have to call them again.

Later, Maxine called to say the flights were booked but the Seabourn computer was not allowing them to be entered into the system. More to come.

This evening, Maxine sent the air flight information. All the flights have been restored.
